Pareidolia

Pareidolia

Nothing online is what it seems.

Struggling artist Mal matches on a dating app with Adam, and their chemistry is instant and intoxicating. Adam is attentive, charming, endlessly attuned — he seems to understand Mal better than anyone ever has. But their romance unfolds entirely online, and Adam keeps finding reasons to put off meeting in person. As Mal spirals deeper, the boundaries between real-world and online identities blur until Mal can no longer tell who he’s fallen for. Pareidolia is a darkly comic and terrifying psychological thriller about intimacy, connection, and disconnection.
